Archie Panjabi, a British-Indian actress, became well-known for her Emmy-winning portrayal of Kalinda Sharma on the television program The Good Wife.

In 1998, Archie wed the tailor Rajesh Nihalani. Their family planned their wedding.

Archie was reluctant to wed the man of her parents’ choosing, but she agreed to see Raj after hearing that she wouldn’t be compelled to wed him.

But once she met Raj, she decided to wed him. Archie had already said how much she cherished her husband’s openness.

In an interview, she said,

“He is both my best friend and a really honest person. He has always been a huge support. No agent or publicist in the world will ever be able to offer you their all the way like someone who truly loves you.”

When she relocated to New York to film The Good Wife, Archie and Rajesh continued their long-distance relationship for a few years. Nevertheless, despite their separation, their marriage held strong.

Archie’s husband, who owns “Imperial Tailoring,” was also detained and accused of robbing the Brent Cross John Lewis shop of a camera, a digital camera memory card, and an Apple Mac laptop in 2010.
