"Labor Day" - Press Conference: 57th BFI London Film Festival

Kate Winslet’s feet gained mainstream attention at the same time as the rest of her.  In the 1997 film, Titanic, Winslet’s feet were able to snag a moment in the spotlight during a scene in which she performed a ballerina dance stunt with nothing but stockings on her feet.  Many viewers were stunned by the size of Winslet’s feet which have since been reported as size 11. Since then, many of Winslet’s fans have continued to discuss her feet, and their conversations have spread to almost every corner of the Internet world. In more recent years, fans have connected using the popular social networking website, Twitter, and have used the platform to openly discuss their love for Winslet’s feet.  While some posts simply shout out Winslet’s feet, others have taken a different approach.  Here are three of the strangest Kate Winslet feet tweets.

@E_Paterson My abiding memory of this film is the lingering shot of Kate Winslet's startlingly large bare feet.

It’s unclear which Kate Winslet film this Twitter user is referring to. However, it is very clear that the sight of Winslet’s feet has left a lasting impression on @zoe_ross12. Hopefully, the sake of Winslet’s career, her feet aren’t the only thing that have left such a lasting impression on viewers.

Kate Winslet. I will meet you someday and I will kiss your feet then take you out for cocktails.

Apparently, the line between creeping and complimenting is thinner than anyone could have ever imagined. Sure, there are plenty of people in the world who would love to meet Kate Winslet, maybe even take her out for a cocktail.  However, the number of people who want to kiss Winslet’s feet is probably significantly lower.

Although it is unclear whether or not the feet in the image actually belong to Kate Winslet, the tweet that accompanies it is far more disturbing. While the terms “smelly” and “nasty” are not usually seem as compliments, this Twitter user seems to be using them as terms of endearment regarding Winslet’s feet.
